Tours & Hotels Booking Terms & Conditions

Bookings

  1. A non-refundable deposit of S$200 is required upon booking.
  2. Balance in full to be made 14 days prior departure.

Cancellation charges

In the event of any amendment or cancellation, the following fees will be applicable:

Hotel booking:

  1. A NO SHOW and CANCELLATION charge of ONE room night rate will be levied if booking is changed or cancelled within 72 hours prior arrival.
  2. An administration charge of S$15.00 will be levied on any amendment or cancellation after confirmation of booking.

Refund on tour packages

Full refund including booking deposit will be returned if arrangements cannot be confirmed or fulfilled. The company shall not be liable for any further claims.

Tour price excludes:

  • - Visa fees.
  • - Travel insurance.
  • - Wine, liquor, all kinds of beverages, drinks during meals.
  • - Tipping.
  • - Airport taxes, excess baggage charges.
  • - Meals, gratuities and other services not listed.
  • - Laundry, dry cleaning and all items of personal in nature.

Visas and passport

It is the responsibility of tour members to ensure that they have an International Passport which is valid for at least 6 months. Passengers should hold visas, vaccinations, health certificates and all necessary travel documents as required by various Government authorities of the countries to be visited. The Company cannot, however, guarantee the approval of your visa application.

Responsibility and liability

DEKS AIR and its agent act only as agents for the passenger and the transportation companies, hotel contractors and other principals involved in this tour. All tickets, vouchers and documents issued are subject to the terms, conditions and contracts under which such transportation and other services provided.

They assume no responsibility for injury, illness, damage, accident, loss delay death or irregularities that may be caused to person or property. All bookings are subject to usual terms, conditions and contracts of the local ground operators.

The company reserves the right to alter or modify time – table of carriers, itineraries and hotel accommodation in any way necessary in the interest of tour members or due to circumstances over which the operator has no control.

If additional expenses are incurred through delays, accidents or disruption of advertised schedules beyond the control of the operator, such expenses must be borne by the passenger(s). The transportation companies or firms shall be exempted from all liability in respect of any detention, delay, loss, damage, sickness, or injury by whomsoever caused and of whatever kind occurring to the passenger at any time when the passengers is not onboard a carrier or conveyance used or operated by the transportation companies, or firms.

The company does not accept any liability in contract or in tort for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by events which are beyond its control, or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on its part including but not limited to war, civil disturbances, fire, floods, usually severe weather, acts of gods, acts of government or of any authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action. The passage contract in use by the transportation companies or firms concerned shall constitute the sole contract between the transportation companies of firms and purchases of these tour and/or passengers.

All tickets, coupons and order are furnished and subject in all respect to those terms and conditions under which means of transportation or other services provided thereby are offered or supplied by owners, operators, public carriers, managing agents or agents.

DEKS AIR reserves the right to require any person to withdraw from the tour if it is deemed that his acts or conduct is offensive to or incompatible with the comfort of other clients and DEKS AIR shall be under no further liability thereafter to any such person.

DEKS AIR also reserves the right to decline, to accept any booking or after acceptance cancel the tour arrangement for any reason. Should this happen, the entire payment will be refunded and DEKS AIR shall be under no further liability to the clients.

Notes:

  1. No refund or reduction will be made for any service, transfers, accommodation, meals or tours unutilized.
  2. Tour price is subject to change without notice in event of sudden fluctuations in market prices of increase of airfare and/or local taxes during effective period.
  3. No guide, courier, escort or other employees or agent of DEKS AIR is authorized to commit the company to any liability whatsoever and the company will not be bound by any statement or representation unless it is in writing and signed by an authorized member of the Company.
  4. DEKS AIR shall not be responsible for the deportation or refusal of entry by immigration authouries of tour members resulting from the possession of unlawful items or those holding improper travel documents or other causes or whose behaviors and activities are considered as subversive by the foreign government concerned.
  5. Programme, tour prices, services and conditions as listed are based on the situation applicable at the time of publication therefore they are subjected to changes with or without prior notice.

Complaint / claim

Any complaint and/or claim must be made in writing to the Company within 7 days after the completion of the tour. All disputes, if any, will be subjected to the Singapore Court of Law.
